For the Professional Writing & Rhetoric Internship Course at Baylor University, Ms. Koziol completed a Public Relations Internship with Good Neighbor House in Waco, TX.

Good Neighbor Waco is a community non-profit that provides spaces for community members to gather in fellowship.

Here at Good Neighbor we have a lending library that our librarian and Resident Volunteer, Libby, takes wonderful care of. Anyone in the community is welcome to stop by and take or leave a book!

Since children's books are a favorite in our community, we are currently accepting donations of children's books in good condition to add to our lending library.

Our Resident Volunteers have a new roof of 30-year shingles! With our new roof, we are excited to begin fundraising for solar panels as we do our part to be a Good Neighbor to others and the Earth.

We are so thankful for everyone who helped make our Gigantic Book Sale a success! Masks were worn and social distancing was practiced as Good Neighbors are considerate of our neighborhood’s health. We want to thank everyone who volunteered and those who shopped our sale! We are happy to have earned money toward our solar panel project for the Resident Volunteer’s roof.
